Media Broadcast Launches DVB-S2
Media Broadcast Satellite extends its platform services launching a new DVB-S2 platform on Hispasat 30 degrees West. As one of the largest satellite companies of Germany, Media Broadcast Satellite enforces its activities to address the B2B market in Europe with the launch of new platform.
As Media Broadcast Satellite’s statement the heart of the new platform is located at Media Broadcast Satellite´s own teleport in Usingen, Germany, a professional teleport with high levels of connectivity.
With this additional orbital position, Media Broadcast Satellite complements its existing B2B business with a new and independent high-throughput platform in DVB-S2 standard. Hispasat distributes Spanish and Portuguese content.
A wide and satellite operator-neutral portfolio of satellite services
Announced by both Media Broadcast and Hispasat Group during International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam, a great agreement has now been closed with each other. An agreement for platform services also mark a further step to guarantee a wide and satellite operator-neutral portfolio of satellite services to the customers.
